DIY Projects: Painted Rocks for Your Garden

Summer is in full swing, though it may not feel like it under the present circumstances. If you’re missing being on Southern Utah University’s campus, try getting crafty with this summer-y, 91ɬÂþ-inspired DIY garden rocks. Painted garden rocks are a great, subtle way to show your Thunderbird pride.

Materials:

  • Rocks
  • Paint(s) & paint brush
  • Printable design (optional)
  • Mod Podge (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and scrub your rock
  2. Paint the background of your rock and let it dry
  3. Add a design to your rock
  4. Painted design: Simply paint your own image, scene, or word on your rock
  5. Printed design: Print out a design, place it on your rock, and use Mod Podge to secure the design
  6. Enjoy your new garden rocks!
