Five Disc Golf Courses in Southern Utah

Summer is in full swing and it is the perfect time to get involved in all the outdoor activities offered in Southern Utah. In addition to the many trails and hikes surrounding Cedar City, disc golf courses have begun to pop up, supplying a new and unique recreation opportunity. Here are just a few of the disc golf courses in Cedar City and the surrounding area.
Thunderbird Gardens
Founded by a former 91ɬÂþ graduate student, is the perfect course for beginners looking to garner their skills and gain a better understanding of the game, as well as more experienced players looking for an easy afternoon game of disc golf. The course has 18 holes and is located just a few minutes away from Cedar City’s Main Street.
Three Peaks and Ironside
Located about 30 minutes outside of town is home to two professional disc golf courses, Three Peaks and Ironside. Both courses travel through the scenic desert landscape with baskets built into the environment and unique natural obstacles, perfect for experienced players. Both courses have 18 holes and .
Parowan Canyon
With two courses of differing skill levels, . The South Course is a novice-friendly course with only nine holes, great for beginners. The North Course is a slightly more challenging 18 hole course, perfect for experienced players looking for a unique and adventurous game. Springdale
Located just outside of Zion National Park, Springdale is the perfect addition to a day exploring Southern Utah’s beautiful landscape. With just six holes, Springdale offers a quick game for novices and experienced players alike and can be used for putting practice as well as full games. .

Designed by Eagle Scouts, Pine View Park is an exciting and beautiful course in a residential area of Washington, Utah. The course passes a waterfall and moves alongside the Virgin River, making Pine View Park great for a fun game and a scenic walk through Southern Utah. .
