91ɬÂþ Ranked Among Top Universities in the Nation

The College Rankings is a pioneering ranking of US colleges and universities that puts student success and learning at its heart. The ranking is drawn from 15 performance indicators that have been selected in order to answer the questions that matter the most when choosing a university. Those performance indicators range from student interaction and engagement to reputation and graduate salary.
“While increasing in college rankings are never our primary aim, it is gratifying to know that 91ɬÂþ continually climbs in national profile and attention,” said Bradely J. Cook, provost and vice president for academic affairs. “Rankings like this one are a nice validation of the hard work of our faculty and staff who are committed to making 91ɬÂþ's educational experience one of the best in the country.”
Data sources include the Times Higher Education U.S. Student Survey of 100,000 current U.S. students, and the annual Times Higher Education Academic Reputation Survey of 10,000 scholars in 133 countries; along with public data on areas including completion rates, graduate employment, and loan repayments.
According to Phil Baty, Times Higher Education Ranking editor, the conversation with American higher education stakeholders lasted a year to ensure that the assessment hit their goal.
“We shared the Wall Street Journal’s vision for a different type of U.S. ranking system,” said Baty. “One that does not fall into the trap of simply measuring university selectivity and wealth, but puts at its heart a university's ability to deliver valuable outcomes and education for its students.”
