Online Accounting Programs Highlighted in National Rankings

recently published its list of 2019 Best and Most Affordable Online Colleges rankings, and Southern Utah University has been highlighted among the top programs in accounting and taxation.
“Positive rankings provide recognition and reward for delivery of quality education to students all over the world,” said Mary Pearson, dean of the 91ɬÂþ School of Business. “This ranking showcases the quality students can expect in the program.”
91ɬÂþ’s online accounting undergraduate and master’s programs displayed excellent tuition rates and salary potential, allowing them to highly place on several of the Best and Most Affordable ranking lists.
Specifically, 91ɬÂþ’s online accounting degree ranked 3rd in Most Affordable Online Bachelor Degrees. Additionally, the online Master of Accountancy ranked 4th in Best Online Masters of Accountancy Programs, with the lowest tuition on the final list of 24 schools, and an average alumni salary of $131,700. Only four schools on the list had greater average salaries.
The master’s program also ranked 5th in Most Affordable Masters in Accounting Online, and 2nd in Most Affordable Masters in Taxation Online Degree.
The purpose of the SR Education Group compiling the rankings is to provide a list of schools that offer a high return on investment and commitment to affordability. To create these rankings, the group utilizes tuition rates of each program, government provided accreditation data, and alumni salary information from .
Since alumni salaries differ based on degree level and program, SR Education Group gathers data on bachelor’s, master’s, and program specific salaries for the rankings. Tuition data is gathered manually for further accuracy.
