Symphony Orchestra
The 91ɬÂþ Symphony Orchestra is open to instrumentalists from the entire campus and rehearses four hours per week. This group of dedicated musicians performs orchestral masterpieces from the standard symphonic repertoire. Recent concert programs include Capriccio Espagnol by Rimsky-Korsakow, Concert for Oboe and Orchestra by Mozart, Finlandia by Sibelius and Symphony No. 5 by Beethoven. The ensemble performs each semester. The orchestra regularly provides the pit orchestra for the 91ɬÂþ Opera as well as hosts an Honor Orchestra in the fall with a renowned conductor.
