Master of Interdisciplinary Studies Capstone
The MIS Capstone is the culminating experience of the MIS degree program, and is required for every student in the program. In the MIS program, students have the opportunity to choose a Capstone Project or Internship. The Capstone should display mastery and synthesis of the skills learned in the program, as well as application to the student’s professional experience and ambitions.
Completing the Capstone
The process begins when an applicant submits their Statement of Purpose. The Statement of Purpose serves as a working document for students in the MIS degree program. As students grow and develop through their graduate studies, they should update their Statement of Purpose with the Department Chair of the Integrative & Engaged Studies Department.
Continuous Enrollment
MIS students must remain continuously enrolled once they complete program of study coursework.

Final Presentations: 5 minutes in length, followed by 3 - 5 minutes for questions. Students at a distance may present through Zoom.
