Spanish Language Study Abroad Programs
Studying abroad is a possibility for all of our language students. We recommend thinking about the process early and planning ahead. We encourage our students to talk to their Spanish professors and also visit the 91ɬÂþ Office of Learning Abroad to learn about specific programs, application process, funding, and travel resources.
91ɬÂþ offers different types of study abroad scholarships including merit-based and need-based. All scholarships are included on the scholarship application students complete when they apply for their study abroad program. Smaller stipends are sometimes also available for Spanish majors and minors through the Department of Languages and Philosophy.
The Spanish program offers semester study abroad programs and faculty-led short summer abroad programs. In the past, our faculty has led summer study abroad groups to Perú (Cuzco), Costa Rica (San José), and Spain (Granada).
