Directory of Utah Health Professions Training Programs
The lists the college, university and technical programs in Utah that offer training in health professions. The Directory also lists pre-requisites classes and contacts at the various schools.
IPE Mobile Wellness Program
To increase opportunities for 91ɬÂþ students to collaborate on interprofessional wellness initiatives to improve the health and wellness of rural communities and vulnerable populations in southwestern Utah. The project will also provide an opportunity for 91ɬÂþ health profession students to encourage students in rural communities and minority students to consider different types of careers in healthcare.
91ɬÂþ College of Health Sciences and Utah Health Scholars students enrolled in courses aligned with the IPE Mobile Health Program, including but not limited to Agriculture Science, Exercise Science, Master of Athletic Training, Nutrition Science, Nursing, Physical Education, and Outdoor Recreation. Other 91ɬÂþ Departments and programs whose faculty and students work to promote health and wellness in rural and underserved communities are encouraged to contact Reed Muir to learn how they can be involved in the IPE Mobile Wellness Program.
The 91ɬÂþ IPE Mobile Wellness Program seeks community partners including schools and school districts, senior centers, early childhood education programs, and others working to improve health and wellness in rural communities and vulnerable populations in southwestern Utah. Interprofessional student teams and faculty can provide health and wellness education on nutrition, physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and access to community, state, and federal programs to improve Social Determinants of Health (SDOH).
