Graduate Student Conference Funding Instructions
91ɬÂþ Graduate Studies provides some funding, as a reimbursement, to 91ɬÂþ graduate students for the purpose of building and enhancing their professional knowledge and research. Ideally, a graduate student requesting funding will be engaged in research.
Graduate students may apply for funding at two levels:
- A graduate student approved to present at a professional conference may apply to receive reimbursement for up to $650. Students in this category are given preference to the funding where applicable.
- A graduate student attending a specific conference related to his/her program of study may apply to receive reimbursement for up to $250.
Apply
To apply, before conference travel, fill out the application form and submit it with the appropriate documentation.
For the $250 application, graduate students are asked to submit two items:
- Application
- List of a few sessions at conference related to student’s program of study
For the $650 application, graduate students are asked to submit three items:
- Application
- Letter of approval to present at the conference
- Some digital copy or artifact of presentation (PowerPoint, graphics, photographs and so forth)
Reimbursement
For reimbursement, after conference travel, submit the following documents to:

- Proof of conference attendance and/or copy of artifact or presentation (PPT, poster, etc.)
- Receipts
